Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began when she was 14 years old. Along with BJJ She also took classes in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and beat her in a unanimous decision to put a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from defeat by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey in professional boxing. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by one-round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16.
