Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid reviewer of Z-graded movies that are mostly of the horror and martial arts types. Her style and approach are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However, she tends towards stupid action movies with a morbid fascination. She began reviewing in late 2009 and, after garnering some notoriety through their forums (under the name of her former handle Obscurus Lupa) she became a member of the Channel Awesome family. The channel was online up until the end of 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents turned into Movie Nights. The host hosts two podcasts on her channel, both of which are based on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The show also has a few times adult-oriented comedy. The reviewer began her journey in late 2009, gaining fame in channels like the Channel Awesome forums before officially being a part of the reviewers of the channel's family. She has appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. Doug Walker as well as Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently be featured in shows like Nostalgia Critic.
